01. The Story Behind
Kiddo Skin started with a simple mission: to normalize skincare for everyone, not just for girls. In Indonesia, skincare is often seen as something feminine—but self-care should never have a gender. This brand believes that taking care of your skin is a basic form of self-love that anyone can embrace. Built with this mindset, Kiddo Skin was created to support a new generation that values expression, confidence, and care—no matter who they are.
02. The Challenge
Creating a skincare brand that appeals to both boys and girls without leaning too feminine or too clinical was the core challenge. The design had to feel trustworthy yet youthful, premium yet playful. We needed a visual language that could clearly communicate care and protection, while still standing out on the shelf in a market dominated by gendered aesthetics. Balancing minimalism with personality—and clarity with creativity—was key in reaching our young, design-conscious audience.
03. The Result
The final brand identity delivered a balanced aesthetic that resonated with both male and female users. Key outcomes included:
A clean and modern visual system with a soft blue palette, bold iconography, and structured layouts.
A packaging design that conveyed both clarity and approachability, appealing to first-time and regular skincare users.
Positive feedback from target users who described the brand as “trustworthy,” “refreshing,” and “easy to relate to.”
